This warehouse door is a hollow metal steel door set built as a single swing hinged leaf in a matched pressed steel frame, made for warehouse, plant room, service and equipment areas where both durability and airflow matter. It is fire rated from 20 minutes up to 3 hours, conforming to or exceeding SDI/HMMA industrial standards and fire tested and certified with UL and Intertek/Warnock Hersey, complying with UL 10(b), UL 10(c) and NFPA 252. The leaf carries a fixed steel louver panel set into a neat rectangular opening, with the blades angled inward so that air moves freely through the door and the space is properly ventilated while rain and draughts are kept out. The doorset is water resistant and impact resistant for hard working service areas. Standard construction includes 18 and 20 gauge steel door skins, a 16 gauge flush top channel, a 16 gauge inverted bottom channel, a standard seamless edge, a 20 gauge dust cover, 7 gauge hinge reinforcement, 12 gauge closer reinforcement and 14 gauge lock reinforcement, on a 1 3/4 inch standard leaf thickness, finished in a rust inhibitive primer to ANSI/SDI 250.10 and top coated in deep teal petrol blue, with plenty of optional colours available. It is supplied with five knuckle stainless steel hinges, a lever handle with keyed cylinder, a mortise latch with a smooth nylon faced bolt for quiet operation, and an overhead closer, and can be installed in either a masonry frame with wire masonry anchors or a knock down drywall frame. The louver panel is removable and interchangeable, and the leaf is also available without louver or with a lite where ventilation is not required.
