This standard pair fire resistant pedestrian doorset is certified to EN 16034: 2014 with a fire resistance classification of E 120, giving 120 minutes of integrity for fire compartmentation and for use on escape routes. It is a standard pair of two exactly equal width leaves hung in one matched pressed steel frame, so it reads as one symmetrical double leaf doorset rather than a mother and child arrangement. Each leaf carries an overhead self closing device and the pair is classified C for self closing, with durability of self closing verified to C3 over 50 000 cycles. Ability to release is certified as released and durability of ability to release is certified as release maintained, which means the leaves always swing back to the closed position and stay closed without manual assistance. Only the active leaf carries the lever handle with keyed cylinder and the mortise latch, while the inactive leaf keeps a completely clean face, being held top and bottom by mortise flush bolts set inside the leaf. The doorset is manufactured under AVCP System 1 with TUV Rheinland InterCert as the notified body, notified body number 1008, under certificate 1008-CPR-MC 69268686 0001.
