UL Listed 3 Hour Fire Rated Steel Door. Door certified under WHI15-21778302 as a Category A door, rated 3 Hour Neutral Pressure and 3 Hour Positive Pressure, for installation singly or in pairs. Matched frame certified under WHI15-21778301. 45 mm leaves built from two galvanized steel face sheets folded into a closed steel shell, with 16 gauge inverted top and bottom end channels welded inside and a 10 Gauge hinge reinforcement. Filled with polystyrene or honeycomb core. Hardware to ANSI/BHMA A156.115. UL Listed stainless steel hinges, overhead closer, rim panic exit device and flush bolts concealed in the inactive leaf. Active leaf factory prepared for a mortise or cylindrical lock. Standard pairs up to 2416 mm total width, each leaf up to 1208 mm wide and 2416 mm high, leaf thickness 45 mm minimum. Vision panel up to 1296 sq.in and louver up to 576 sq.in with 18 gauge channel reinforcement. Powder coated finish – highly durable, cost effective and with minimal heavy metals. RAL colour charts and customer colour samples available for project colour matching. Masonry rated frame available for 3 hour applications. 16 gauge pressed steel frame, knock-down or welded. MCM500 masonry and MCD500 drywall. 3 hour rating applies to masonry walls; for pairs in drywall the anchors are fixed at the head section at a minimum of 24 in on centre. Continuous mechanical interlocking edge seam filled with an internal sealant, formed on a 180 degree return hem and welded on the inside, then ground and surface finished, so the exterior face shows no visible weld line. Meeting edges of pairs may require an astragal or an edge-sealing system. The door is evaluated as a Category A door without an additional edge-sealing system between the door and the frame. Certified with a temperature rise of greater than 650F at 30 minutes. Tested to UL 10(b), UL 10(c), NFPA 252 and CAN/ULC S104.
