This industrial door is a heavy duty hollow metal steel door built as a single swing hinged leaf in a matched pressed steel frame, and it is important to note that it is a side hung swing door rather than a rolling, sectional or overhead type door. It is fire rated from 20 minutes up to 3 hours, conforming to or exceeding SDI/HMMA industrial standards and fire tested and certified with UL and Intertek/Warnock Hersey, complying with UL 10(b), UL 10(c) and NFPA 252. The leaf is the steel stiffened construction, in which 20 gauge steel stiffeners are spot welded at 6 inch on centre through the interior of a fully welded seamless leaf, with fibrous insulation packed between the stiffeners, giving a rigid leaf that resists impact and distortion in busy industrial use. Standard construction includes 18 and 20 gauge steel door skins, a 16 gauge flush top channel, a 16 gauge inverted bottom channel, a standard seamless edge, a 20 gauge dust cover, 7 gauge hinge reinforcement, 12 gauge closer reinforcement and 14 gauge lock reinforcement, on a 1 3/4 inch standard leaf thickness, finished in a rust inhibitive primer to ANSI/SDI 250.10 and top coated in deep forest green, with plenty of optional colours available. It is supplied with five knuckle stainless steel hinges, a lever handle with keyed cylinder and an overhead closer, and can be hung in a pressed steel drywall frame with steel stud anchors or in a masonry frame with wire masonry anchors. Integral lite and integral louver options are available where the project requires them, and the doorset is water resistant and impact resistant for hard working service areas.
